Q. Who can participate at the StartupNowForum?
StartupNowForum is an entrepreneurship, innovation and Technology Forum for the startup ecosystem. So it’s basically for all entrepreneurs-to-be! The core idea of StartupNowForum is to bring together innovative ideas, local authorities and investors creating a network through which entrepreneurship can thrive in.
StartupNowForum is ideal for whoever wants to promote their idea to the world, learn about business outlets for their idea or already-set startup, investors in search for the next big venture to invest in or companies who are looking for bright young minds to co-operate and exchange ideas with. It is set to facilitate the co-creation of disruptive and breakthrough solutions, new business ideas and opportunities.
The Forum includes a two-day discussion forum and panels, a pitching competition, 1:1 meetings with investors, companies and corporate executives and a great network of high-profile corporate representatives to achieve the promotion of entrepreneurial ideas in the startup ecosystem.
Q. Where is it taking place?
The Forum will unfold for two days in the beautiful city of Eleusis, a city full of contrasts: it has been declared as the European Capital of culture for 2021 and on the same time is heavily defined by its strong industrial activity and the coexistence of thousands of Industrial, Transportation and Environmental Enterprises.
Q. Who can be a part of this?
StartupNow Forum is for all startupers and entrepreneurs-to-be looking to expand their idea and engage in promotion of innovative ideas. We’re basically looking for people who want to Discover Innovation!
The Forum is addressed to the whole StartUp Ecosystem: StartUps, Investors, Young Enterpreneurs, Companies Representatives, Small, SMEs or Big Companies who seek new opportunities in the Startup Ecosystem and to everyone who may seek new collaborations and business outlets in the Startup Ecosystem. Only prerequisite: getting your ticket! Each participant registers with the ticket at the Registration Desk on the days of the event.
Participants are requested to register for StartupNow Forum at http://www.startupnowforum.gr/buy-ticket/The Organizer may decide to close the registration before the deadline in case the maximum number of participants is reached. Only participation requests submitted within the given submission period will be considered valid. No participation request will be accepted after the submission deadline.
To enter the Competition, each Startuper needs to tick the box in the relevant field when purchasing their ticket (either individually as a startuper or as a StartUp team). To take part as a Startup and participate in the Competition each team or individual startuper needs to have an idea (early or in later development stages) and be over 18.
Q. What should be my background to take part in StartupNow Forum?
- No specific knowledge or skills are required to attend the Discussion Forum & Panels or the networking events
- For the Entrepreneurship Competition teams or individuals who wish to participate should have the knowledge, skills and determination for a viable implementation of their Business Plan
Q. What if I don’t have a business plan? Can I take part in the Competition?
No, that is not possible. You must have an idea that you want to materialize.
Q. Will Live-Streaming be available during the Forum?
No, Live Streaming won’t be available. You can follow the event on social media and stay updated about all happenings. Participation in the Competition is not allowed via skype or other form of remote communication.
Q. Event logistics and relative costs
Participation to StartupNow Forum is chargeable. All ticket packages are available at: http://www.startupnowforum.gr/buy-ticket/ The participants shall bring their own devices (chargers, power strip, etc) with Wi-Fi capability. The Organiser will provide the credentials for free accessing internet resources for the duration of the event.
Snacks and coffee will be provided for the whole duration of the Forum.
Accommodation is not provided.
Transfer to and from the venue won’t be arranged by the Organizer.
The premises will be open to the participants throughout the duration of the event. The participants shall accept the terms and conditions of use of the facilities. Finally, they shall follow the instructions of the staff.

StartupNowForum is organized by Mantis Business Innovation, a resident startup in EGG, Eurobank’s incubator. The Conference is under the auspices of the Municipality of Eleusis, the National Technical University of Athens and the Industrial Chamber of Piraeus. It is supported by numerous Greek startups (Revolut, Owiwi etc) and Organizations (e.g. AISEC, Reload Greece and Mindspace). Eleusis has also been declared as the European Capital of Culture for 2021.

Q. Which Startups can Exhibit (Exhibition Startup Package)?
The event will accommodate a limited number of startups who will be able to exhibit on a first come first serve basis. All startups wishing to exhibit must purchase an Exhibition Package (covers 3 members of the team or friends) and additional tickets for the rest of the team.
Q. Which startups can participate in the contest?
All startups can take part, provided that they purchase individual tickets for all members.
