Antonis Papadakis

General Secretary

Antonis Papadakis was born in Athens. He is a graduate of the National Technical University of Athens, School of Electrical and Computer Engineering with the direction of Energy Electrical Engineer. Since 2007 he is a stakeholder and General Manager of the Greek company ARVIS SOLAR Ltd, which is active in the study and construction of electricity generation projects from renewable sources.He is active in the field of environmental protection since 1994, collaborating with construction and research firms, as a research associate and mainly as project manager for complex industrial projects of environmental protection, such as sewage treatment plants, drinking water treatment plants, municipal waste treatment plants, etc.

He is an elected member of the Management Board and General Secretary of the Hellenic Solid Waste Management Association (HSWMA), Vice President of the Greek Association of Environmental Protection Companies (PASEPPE), National Coordinator of the European Business Awards for the Environment – EBAE) of the European Commission Directorate-General for Environment and member of the Scientific Working Group of the Waste to Energy Research Council (“SYNERGIA”), Greek branch of the Global Waste to Energy Research and Technology Council of Earth Engineering Center- Columbia University (WTERT).General Secretary
